Heredity Biosciences successfully conducted a one-day hands-on workshop on Plant Molecular Biology at Dhenkanal Autonomous College on 26 November 2025, marking a memorable day of scientific learning and student engagement. The event witnessed extraordinary participation, with more than 120 students from various departments joining the training session with great enthusiasm.
The workshop was designed to introduce students to the practical world of Plant molecular biology, bridging the gap between classroom real laboratory experience. Students gained exposure to essential techniques such as DNA isolation, gel electrophoresis, PCR concepts, and basic microbial handling methods. The interactive format allowed participants to observe real experiments, ask questions, and understand the applications of molecular tools in research, diagnostics, and biotechnology industries.
A moment of deep gratitude goes to the HODs, faculty members, and teachers of Dhenkanal Autonomous College, whose support, coordination, and encouragement made the program a grand success. Their active involvement helped ensure smooth organization and created a welcoming academic environment that motivated students to learn.
The feedback from participants was extremely positive. Many students shared that this workshop was their first experience handling molecular biology concepts in a practical format. Several expressed interest in pursuing advanced training, internships, and dissertation programs at Heredity Biosciences.
